How was your hair before you applied the colour (ie pre-bleached, growing out old colour, etc)?
Had a bunch attitude hair colours that I let fade a bit. I am fortunate enough to have blonde roots, though I notice the parts I had bleached in the past do absorb the colour better.
What is your favourite hair dye brand and what is so great about it?
The only semi-permanent brand I tried is Attitude. It went beyond my expectations! How? I mean look at the picture! The colours are so pretty! Im obsessed with the brightness, how long it stays bright and how beautifully it fades.
Before that it was Henna.
Your no.1 advice for dyeing your own hair is:
No developer means you can take your time, so just make a cozy evening out of it! Play nice music or a movie in the background, have snacks, a cup of tea, make yourself comfortable. I have a bunch of old cushions from the thrift store that I place before a mirror, cover with plastic and plop down on. It doesn't have to be a clinical process when you're doing it at home, just have fun with it!
